The Wilderer Alm
is located in the heart of the Katschberg ski area, right by the Königswiesen lift at an elevation of 1,623 m, and thanks to its central location is a meeting point for skiers, sun worshipers, people out for a walk and everyone who wants to take things at a more leisurely pace, and of course, your dog (on a leash) is welcome, too. The chalet itself, designed with a love for detail, will impress you with its large tile stove, comfortable tables and the bar area.

For your convenience, we spare you the annoyance of having to stand in line, with our staff happy to serve you either at the table or at the loungers on the terrace. Thanks to the most modern technology, you will be pleasantly surprised with how quickly we are able to fill your order. Please be aware that we are unable to accept reservations during the time from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

New: the Wilderer breakfast starting at 8:00 am
Granola cereal with fresh fruit, or fried eggs with bacon, for the perfect start to a perfect day of skiing. We offer five breakfast variations, from savory to sweet and including non-alcoholic hot beverages, for only € 5.50.

For groups or families with 5 or more people, we are happy to prepare a breakfast according to your individual wishes. Just ask our staff for assistance.

Starting out the season with a new menu
Our kitchen team prepares freshly made specialties with products from the region, guaranteed to appeal to young and old. Along with our soups and classics such as wiener schnitzel and cheesy spätzle noodles, we also serve oven-baked potatoes and a selection of fresh, crisp salads. Of course, we also offer vegetarian dishes as well as something to maintain that slim, trim figure, along with special children’s meals with a fun surprise. Dive into the culinary delights of Austria!

For our guests with a sweet tooth, every apple strudel is made to order with whipped cream or custard for only € 3.00.

Après ski starting at 3:30 pm
What is more wonderful than bringing your day of skiing to a close in a high-spirited setting with a great atmosphere. Our DJ really knows how to heat things up at the chalet. Our sun terrace, with plenty of loungers and homemade schnapps to go around, and our lovingly stocked wine cellars are both real highlights with our guests.

We have our own separate parking for daytime guests, but due to high demand, we ask that you let us know ahead of time so that we can reserve a space for you.

Our opening times are from 8:00 am until 12 midnight.
Warm meals served continuously!
Breakfast is from 8:00 to 11:00 am; Après ski with our DJ begins at 3:30 pm.
